Kafernberg in Alzenau

I don't have my meal at the table yet, but I have enough reason to call the restaurant pushy rude.

Hotel review: The rooms are functional, but rather shabby. Mini fridge in the room was missing. So there is no way to cool food. My explicit request NOT to enter the room for cleaning purposes was completely ignored. That is absolutely unacceptable! Breakfast is included in the room price and is functional. Once again I will not book a room here.

Very nice days spent in the Hotel Käfernberg! Small problems with accompanying seniors and grandchildren were quickly and easily solved! However, the staff should be emphasized. It's just awesome !!! Thanks again!

The most awesome place! Fantastic food, amazing customer service and friendly attentive waitresses. I forgot my charger and lady at reception gave me one, and also I was hungry at night and she prepared me a special midnight snack which she brought up to my room for free. that's really going above and beyond. Lovely quaint place. 10/10 would definitely come again

Everything fitted. Prices match the service.

We had, some time ago, a quiet and clean room with a balcony and a beautiful view of the valley. The breakfast was extensive and there was something for every taste. We sat on the large terrace on two evenings and were served good wine by Hörsteiner winegrowers, even though the restaurant was actually closed at that time. The service was warm and very attentive.

Quite OK place for dinner. But a waiter that assums that the change-money is a tip is not good...

Long waiting times and from the very small map the mushrooms were already out. We were disappointed. The ambience is very nice. The high stairs to the local was hard to handle for my handicapped mother. Too bad, because the local would be worth a second visit.

Michael Barnetzki is the most unfriendly hotel owner I have ever dealt with. His hotel is run unprofessional and guests are only of interest because they pay. Do not go!!!

A really great address in the region. There are always seasonal specialties from the region and the quality of the food is always top class. Great ambience and very courteous service. We were not here yet should absolutely catch up!

Very nice rooms decorated with love. The food is very good and tastes best of the "own" wine. The service is very attentive and warm. You just feel comfortable. In summer, the terrace with a view to Frankfurt is a real highlight. We come again and again and then stay in the associated small hotel.

Clean and friendly with great food and beer. Rooms are a little dated and could do with refurbishment.
